Wow. "Lost for words" is definitely right. Although I also worry that this sort of thing is almost inevitable -- the further away from the event that we get, with the passage of time, the more likely people are to forget the atrocities and, indeed, almost cease to believe in them. They become history, which is, frighteningly, an awful lot like myth: something fascinating and unreal. And so Hitler et al become characters and not people, and they become interesting instead of horrifying, and what they did comes to seem irrelevant because it's so far in the past that nobody can imagine it having not happened; it just becomes a fact

It is quite another thing to make cutesy "fangirl art" of mass murderers.
leave alone all those profiles of the real neo-nazis on there. i've looked -- and found plenty. and DA isn't deleting them. this just makes me sick to my stomach.
