did you know that wombats are not only hella cute, but they are also psuedo endangered -- some of the little buggers are damn near extinct. I should move to austrailia and care for wombats.
does anyone remember the book Don't Pat the Wombat? anyone? Dave brought it from away, and we stole it. and it was so good. where is that book

if by anyone you mean me, then yes, yes i do remember that book. i have no idea where it ended up. I've been hoping to find it again for years. i still have a couple of the koala toy things he brought the same time as the book though.

also there is a 30% chance I'm sticking around a little longer, in which case I'll visit you Friday.

Also, omg making calls to the utilities people...so grown up! Aaaah, it's scary right? And how awesome does your job sound?! That's so great that everyone seems really loverly!

hahaha, no! I tried, but apparently you have to send away to take a permit test now, so that will happen in three or four weeks, and then it's another three or four to get my liscense! I was super irritated...because I went to go get my permit before the road trip, and turns out you cant, so I didnt get all the driving practice I wanted to get and now I am moving. *sniff*
oh well, it'll happen some day.

calling the utilities people WAS scary! but I sorted out the ones we NEED when we get there, like electricity and water and all that, and am waiting on the expensive extras (internet, cable, landline) till abby and I can sit down and tlak about what we really need and what we can really afford...EEEK!

not close enough to live two seconds from you... because my roommate's job is in JP we were mostly looking there and we found a place on washington street in Roslindale, about two blocks from the T (the end of the orange line, forest hills can supposidly be sketchy at night but our resident experts (my friend emily's parents) said that the area was safe enough and agreed that it was a good choice!)and a twenty minute walk from HER job sooo we went with it. next year if she decides to stay in boston then we'll stay there or move into JP ooorrr she'll go and I'll move closer to simmons and work! once we're all moved and settled, I'll invite you over! but we should get together before then!!! kay. see you soon! AH! I am moving there like, the day after tomorrow! aah!
