oh loved this one! great story- that is so Daniel... he would regret and then feel lost. some men are just dumb....

That was awesomely and incompletely erotic.

Only 3 things wrong with this fic:

1. staring at the bed and the women who's limbs he'd untangled himself from (The plural makes the reader ask when the DC hooker entered the story.)

2. whose instead of who's (not a contraction of who is)

3. You skipped a really interesting chunk of story right before the sentence The first hint of dawn. ;-)

heh heh...

You know what's remarkable about this ficlet? It haunted me last night and this morning (aided by trying to sleep during a heatwave in SoCal) among the few other fics I'd read.

It's so sad, not the smut I was looking for, but is so freakin' in character for Daniel at that point in canon that there's really no other way you could've ended it-- er, this chapter of it. ::hint hint::
