It's one of those medical crime dramas. You know, like CSI.

Don't listen to the filename. It will only break your heart.

(Besides, Rose is by far not the most awesome companion you will meet once you have mainlined all four seasons of New Who, which you will OF COURSE be doing shortly. Whee!)

Just finished the first episode, and, err... Well, I'm glad I don't have to feel compelled to love and hug Rose and call her my BFF.

But I'm hooked on the show itself, so yeah, I'm sure I'll be making my way through the entire series just in time for the Christmas special...

No! Don't! Wait! Open that file and it becomes a massive black hole that will suck you in and you'll never be free of it! Ever! It'll fill your mind with crackfic plotbunnies and bizarre AUs! And you'll find yourself spouting gibberish about things like "dimensionally transcendental" and "ontological paradox" and "I liked him better when he was Christopher Eccleston"!

Is that warning enough? Or do I have to bring up THIRTY SEASONS AND FORTY-FIVE YEARS OF HISTORY!? And shipping wars wherein you can actually ship people with themselves? And canon that's not really canon, but more like "suggestions"? Where in every episode there is a point where it just gets weird?

It's bad. Baaaaad. Just delete the file and walk away. You're better off this way.

Too late. *points to above comments*

I've been watching the fandom ever since the new Who went on the air, though (through my flist). I mocked. I held firm.

I finally caved

I know what I'm getting myself into, and really, I plan to avoid the fandom as much as possible...
