I've been here for two weeks at this point, and have yet to actually see about half of my friends. I keep pushing it off, ignoring it, not caring about it. I'm sorry, cutie. Happy Birthday. I'll mail you a small korean child named Kim'chi for your present; just give me a week.
:)
Love ya, be strong -- you can do it.

I'm trying to smile, keep my head up, be strong--but then people start telling me happy birthday and I just break down.
This is my first birthday away from home---I'm not taking it well at all.
You better come and visit me.
Love ya, Jam

So, here's the idea -- it's not your birthday. Just put it on hold til whenever the hell you want, if you ever want. I mean, 18 just sounds hot, so hypothetically, you can just stay there for as long as ya want.
Then, whenever you go home on leave, it can be your birthday.
See, nice, simple plan, and it means you get presents whenever you go home. I amaze even myself sometimes with these simple solutions to complex, emotional problems.
Now, if that somewhat amusing, and idiotic tirade failed to get a smile outta ya, than I am sorry for boring ya. It's gonna get better. Especially after you get to sleep for a while.
And you know I'll visit ya, whenever SB ain't around :) Gotta keep it on the DL and all.
heheh. :)
Luv ya,
Nick, Army of 0.43
