So, there hasn't been much going on over here in my neck of the woods, and what has happened has been food-related because, A) last week was Thanksgiving, and B) that's pretty much the story of my life ( Read more... )

food, community, sharp teeth, icons, joe/zo(oey): rhyming names equal love

Tastespotting is your friend! I only started baking this year, but I get all of my recipes from there. Most of the entries are replete with pictures and tips and tricks on how to get the best results.

I also have it in black and white if you want. Also, re: Joe/Zooey comm: I know I mentioned starting one before, yet it never came to be. I kind of have a renewed interest in it now; should I still do it?

Thanks-- I'll definitely check it out!

YES I AM STILL WILDLY INTERESTED IN JGLZ COMM. And I've got quite a few people on my friend's list that would be as well!

Quinn! She's so lovely, Dianna.

It never really occurred to me until I was browsing through screencaps that the show uses some really pretty shots and colors! There's a decent chance that I will make more in the near future :D

Isn't she? She is pretty much everything I want to be: insanely gorgeous, can act, can sing, a trained dancer AND she wrote, directed and starred in her own movie. AND she's a year or so older than me. Sigh.

ANYWAYS: YES COMMUNITY IS A GREAT SHOW TO ICON. Everything is subtly pretty, and it took me by surprise there! My goal: icon the hell out of Jeff/Annie from the Debate ep.

Thanksgiving sounded wonderful for you! Being Asian just like you, I don't celebrate it also, but I keep telling myself that we should, if only for the wonderful food.

Great, now I'm completely jealous of her, too!

I know, it's so weird to see a comedy that is that pretty! I'm not sure if I can get behind Jeff/Annie, though. The fact that he's twice her age kind of squicks me out.

Yes, if there's anything that Asian people are into, it's copious amounts of good food!

I do, too. It's one of the few shows that I get really excited about every week.

It hurt my soul when I realised there wouldn't be one last week. I can only hope and wait for Thursday! I've absolutely fallen in love with the idea of Jeff and Annie.

I can't get behind Jeff and Annie because of the age difference. I read an interview with the actress who plays Shirley, and she said that she wants an opportunity to make out with Joel McHale since all of the other female actresses have done it. I thought, Now that would be something to see.

Wow, I LOVE your Community icons. Especially the Cheers / M*A*S*H / Fawlty Towers one, I love how you made it haha. Probably taking them all.

Thank you! I played with that icon so much. There was a British flag behind Prof. Duncan at one point, but I nixed it because it seemed like a bit too much.
