Thank you! I dabble in things here and there, but I don't think that my abilities are so great so as to say that I excel at them. I can be pretty particular and fastidious at times, so some things can take me a long time to do.

The cookies were AMAZING. *does Jake hand gesture* It's slightly more labor-intensive than your typical cookie recipe, but so worth it.

Haha, are you referring to the cookies, dolls, or both?

You can never have too many chocolate chip recipes.

Those dolls are adorable. You should make some more like Olive and Emerson. I want some.

My thought exactly!

Ooh, I hadn't thought of that, but that would be a great idea. Now I need to buy more dolls of the same size...

Well, the closest-sized doll I have is half the size, which would seriously make Olive look like a Munchkin compared to the rest. No matter; like I need an excuse to go to the craft store!

Thank you! I used to decorate dolls that way, too, though mine were made out of toothpicks and embroidery floss :)

Browning the butter made a huge difference and gave the cookies an incredibly rich flavor, so it's not surprising that they were a big hit with everyone who tried them. What was interesting, however, was that I thought they tasted better once they were completely cooled as opposed to fresh out of the oven and warm. Which I guess isn't that important in the grand scheme of things since a good cookie is a good cookie.

Damn you! Now I want cookies! (And to watch Pushing Daisies.)

Well, PD may not be, but the cookies are a bad thing! (Even if they taste good!) ;)

Not if they're eaten in moderation, and exactly what defines moderation is up to you ;D
