I have fulfilled my jury duty obligations for the year! Which in actuality means that I called the automated system at 11:30 pm the night before my appearance date and found out that I wasn't needed. LOVE the unorthodox wrapping paper, lovely! Especially the map and Target bag pom-pom and AHHHH, the little beta fish is sooo adorable!

Also, I, too, can never say no to ladies in fine bonnets. ♥!

The Target bag pom pom took longer than I thought it would (I definitely used up more than 10 minutes, which is what the tutorial recommended), but I was really pleased with the outcome.

Cranford has bonnets galore! As well as fine gentlemen in britches, including Simon Woods from Pride & Prejudice fame ;)

My mastery mostly comes from not having any traditional wrapping paper at home, thus the need to scrounge around for other things. Pages from fashion magazines are always good because they have pretty pictures, and they give your gifts a nice collage feel :D

Thank you! It's weird, because I was all about Amy and Arthur while watching the miniseries, but I found myself gravitating towards the supporting characters while making the icons. There were lots of pretty scenes with Tattycoram, as well as Fanny!

Oh my goodness, I Capture The Castle might be my favorite book ever.

Love the wrapping! Totally legit. ;)

And of course, the icons are gorgeous!!

Oh, yay, now I can't wait to read it!

I just like the idea of doing something different. There's certainly enough presents in snowflake or candy cane-patterned paper as it is :P

Thank you, Hannah!

Aww, and I was feeling crafty using matching yarn instead of ribbon. Yours look so much more fabulus!
