cheesy lyrics would be so ideal for this

Things I've had on my mind today.

  1. Was the movie-going population really clamoring for a sequel to White Noise, hence White Noise 2: The Light? (By the way, what kind of addendum is that, The Light?) Granted, I'm for it if it provides work for Nathan Fillion and Katee Sackhoff (another Firefly/BSG fandom collision, whee!), but I honestly don't even ( Read more... )

all things considered, visuals

Whaaat?? That movie got a sequel and Serenity may not? I'm really hating that. But yay for Nathan and Katee! Was either one in the first?

According to IMDB, neither Katee or Nathan was in the first. Furthermore, the director for the sequel directed a bunch of modern Dracula movies. That doesn't exactly bode well.

It also says that White Noise made twice as much at the box-office than Serenity, but like I said before, I haven't heard a single word from anyone about the movie, as opposed to the talk about Serenity, and not just from Firefly fans either! I don't get the industry at all =/

I'm going to say it was because of the trailer. It won the Golden Fleece Trailer Award, which goes to the best trailer for a crap movie. Figures.

Hah, it's okay. I'm not exactly heartbroken over it, as it does make for interesting results at least :)

My friends seem to have the same problem. That's why they always use timers. XD

I would have been okay with the blurriness if it were an action shot, but it doesn't have the same effect when it's just an image of me standing, hah.

Aww, I feel bad that Nathan's stuck doing mediocre thrillers/horror films :( He deserves so much better!

I heard that Slither was actually pretty good, considering the genre it's in. I want to see it so badly, but I'm afraid that I won't be able to take all of the gore =/ Jenna Fischer has a small part in it too!

ii. That happened to me in year 12. Something about capital being different things in Economics and Accounting. They warned us about it, but I've forgotten what the Eco ones means. LOL!

v. Yaaay for new camera! It's good to have your own because then you won't be so embarrassed when your mum finds pictures of yourself poking your tonuge out and stuff. Save, save, save!! :D

vi. Goooooooooooooood luck, hun. Don't worry, you'll do fine and then before you know it, it'll be over and you can PAR-TY!

vii. Hey, that pic is actually pretty. Artistically pretty. Blurry can work sometimes. But I have the same problem as you. No one I know knows how to take a proper picture. I've got pictures with my head cut off.

Eek, at least the subject for my two lectures were of the exact same material, as a term having two completely different meanings is bound to be confusing.

Embarrassing photos? I have no embarrassing photos to speak of! *hides photos where I jump around like a moron*

I'm just not used to having so many midterms in a quarter. I usually take a least one art class a quarter, which means no tests, but I have two science classes this quarter, and they love their tests =/ So it comes out to 1.33 midterms per class.

My friend's stepdad once dropped his camera, and so when the film was developed, there were some photos of us that would overlap with the image of a microwave. It was weird, and yet really interesting at the same time, hah.
