Owing to exams and moving away from Manchester, it's been a while since I posted here, but as my occupation for the next couple of weeks is dog- and house-sitter, it's prime baking time!

I think I deserve a cupcake cause I just can't seem to get a break at the moment. Every time Paddy and I think we're getting out of this stupid little hole something else happens, whether it's bills or Paddy not getting paid or work cutting my hours. To top it off Paddy & I are fighting more than we should cause he's working 9 hours a day from 6am and I have no one to talk to cause I have no friends since moving to Newcastle.

Pheww that felt so good to just get everything off my chest!

I'm pretty sure i deserve a cake because i'm just off to work, and because i'm ace :D You know it makes sense!

This is quite a selfish reason, but basically, I'm about to qualify as a midwife. I've been working for nearly three years to achieve this and on Monday I had all my official documentation signed off. This includes getting all of my 'numbers' - i.e I have to do a certain amount of things to prove I'm competant such as forty deliveries, 100 antenatal examinations etc.

I also got my CRAG signed off - this is the official 'I am competant to be a newly qualified midwife and allowed to go on the registrar of Midwives' document,

I'm feeling very proud of myself and am now applying for jobs. Once I do my final presentation next week, that's the theory part of course over and done with and I will be graduating in September

In other words - I'm gonna be a midwife - go me! :D

Also I love cupcakes and would provide detailed feedback! :D

Thank you - it is! And barring a major incident (that involves lots of dead people) it's pretty much definite. Feel like I've been living in a stress bubble for the last year and it's finally going away :D

I deserve one because I am happy. Therefore, I will be able to fully enjoy and taste the cupcakes, and give you an honest non 'Omg its soooo good because i am so unhappy' report on tastings :D

Also. I am a gym/health lover. These would be my very well deserved treat :D
