[Akihiko doesn't quite sound like his usual self today. There's a certain lackluster quality to his voice, lacking in the exuberance it usually holds. He's trying to hide whatever is bothering him but he's not doing a very good job at it - just like he failed at filtering this message to Mitsuru, Minato and Minami.]Huh. It's the 4th already...?

Senpai? [He's not quite sure what to say either, for once. It's not like the rest of S.E.E.S. can tell, but to learn that Shinji apparently survives in a coma on his sister's side... Does tell him that something could have been done, but was not. He may know well that he shouldn't have any regrets at this point, but that feeling still wasn't a pleasant one.

So he'll just call out to Aki for now; letting him know that his kohai is here, and is willing to try and help, if he needs him for anything that may come to mind.]

[There's a bit of a pause before he speaks, mulling over what he could possibly want to say.]

[He sighs, shaking his head a bit. He wanted to talk to Minato today, that's why he made this broadcast. Even if he wasn't ready to speak to his friends face-to-face today, he still needed to hear their voices, a reminder of the things he still holds dear.]

There's no sense in moping around. I won't let this bring me down, not this year.

[Akihiko finds a strange hush falling over him as he purses his lips a bit in thought. No, Shinji wouldn't want him moping like this but... Does Arisato really have the right to say that? She didn't have to bury him. In the world she comes from, Shinji is still alive.

And as strong as Akihiko presents himself as, as much as he tries to move on and bottle his feelings, he would give anything for Minami Arisato's world to become his reality.

But admitting that isn't something he's ready to do, to himself or Arisato. Instead all he can do is close his eyes and breathe.]

[So she says as she notices his delayed response. Minami sighs, rubbing the back of her head awkwardly as she blindly grasps for something to say.]

Yeah... [He trails off a bit, uncertain of what he can really say anymore. Minami is just Minato's "sister" to him, despite the experiences she personally recalls. She isn't part of his memories - he can't even begin to imagine what kind of experiences she's been through and how many of them involved Shinjiro.]

I'm fine... It's really nothing to worry about. We need to keep smiling and go forward, that's what Shinji wants us to do.

[Even if it still hurts so much to put his best friend and brother in the past.]
