4 weeks to go and baby shower fun!

Words can't describe how wonderful Saturday was! Part of the wonderful started on Friday when Tim and Lisa arrived from Northern CA to come to our baby shower. The shower was so much fun! It was so great to see everyone! I have missed everyone so much and it was so wonderful to be around so many friends! We really felt the love and so did Piper! ( Read more... )

It has definitely felt like much longer than 8 months and I am very much looking forward to giving birth and meeting this little girl!

It took awhile but boy was it fun! We actually didn't do it at the shower. Myra and Heather were afraid it was going to take a crazy amount of time and I was already starting to feel the effects of standing so much so we took it all home and opened it all after we had recuperated a bit. btw... Casey and Tessa and I love the blanket! It is so beautiful! You are amazing! I love crocheted blankets more than you can possibly imagine!

your shower was really amazing.
YAY! for 4 weeks left - and huge happy sigh now - she is fine and anytime between now and your due day and she would be okey dokey.
I will cross my fingers that Piper doesn't go past her due date.
"heh" next week you could start waving that belly in a sexy way a Casey and to have him "help her out"

I actually dont mind if she goes past a bit...we got invited to a wedding on my due date that we would really like to go to so I'm hoping for the 17th! I've already talked to my dr. about my big aversion to induction. As long as I or Piper are not in any immediate danger...we'll just wait till she decides to come. Luckily, my dr. has Nov. 18 down as my due date instead of the 16th which is what she initially told me so that buys me a couple of days.
