I'm trying not to fret too much about my story at the moment, I'm so damn sick I can't focus on plot so I'm putting it aside for a week or so until they get my damn meds right and I feel somewhat human again. Thank you! Yeah, I mean, there's still no voicemail fix for our Sam, but it occurred to me when I was plotting this out that 2014!Sam would really have felt his brother hated him. There was that voicemail and then soon afterwards Dean basically told him to get lost and he wasn't going to help Sam out with the whole Lucifer vessel thing, and then Sam (presumably) never hears from him again. I'm glad he finally got some peace at the end though.

The time travel is, I guess, of the Back to the Future variety (the whole disappearing when the future is changed). But anyway, glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for the review! :)

YES YES YES, this is so good! I love it especially for this: "I forgot he used to care that much. But no, he told me himself: he was done saving me." Because really, what happened to how much Dean used to care and love his brother? Where is Show going, does it have a heart, if this isn't at its core? I'VE almost forgotten he used to care that much. And thank you for this fic, because broken Sam needs saving BY DEAN so very very badly; it heals a little something torn in me to read this.

"Here, take your brother. But don't run. I'll stop you."

Oh, powerful Sam. It's a good thing he's got such a good heart, because when he's set his sights on something, it's done for.

Nice setup, love the red light of time travel and the way you introduce their ages and relative skillset. And the 'monster' knows instantly that it's Dean because he knows so well Dean's strategies. Just, wonderful story!

Yeah, I'm about halfway through Season 9 and it's really making me upset. I suppose you could say Dean still loves Sam but it's a very twisted love and he just seems to care about Sam being alive rather than Sam's well-being. I really hope the show is going to end up with a better relationship between the brothers.
