I guess the wedding stuff has started. I picked up my Aunt who flew from the other side of the world, and took her to her hotel, and had a lovely dinner at the Stephen F Austin. I guess she must travel a lot, since they upgraded her to a suite. She brought stuff from my mom, and Andy and I got gifts from both of them. My Aunt made some Indonesian ( ( Read more... )

To clarify what I said: the details have blurred and fuzzed together a lot, but I still remember the emotions.

Yeah but I've quite a few people tell me they don't remember much of their wedding. I would like to remember the details too.

And it's a common advise given to brides to be present and not rush through the day.

Savor every second! And keep writing because your photographer isn't in your head.

You're going to be married in 3 days surrounded by your loved ones! Stop worrying about people being judgey. They won't be, and even if they are it doesn't matter. You're marrying Andy and you're going to have a great life together!

Seriously! Everyone coming to your wedding is going to be there because they love you and are thrilled for the two of you making a new family together for the rest of your lives.

All else is insignificant compared to that.
