Hi, does anyone want to discuss results of TEB? I see a big problem becouse he got < on his jumps in two GP events this season. Icenetwork.com wrote before SC he had got problems with new boots and had to skate in old, so I think it could be a reason. I just hope he can fix this problem as soon as possible. He lost so many points on it. Do you know what are the reasons for underrotated jumps? He had them at 4CC 2011 too before he started to skate in new boots in March. Thank you. :)
The underrotating problem could be because he doesn't attack the jumps with enough speed, or maybe it's because the boot problems. One of my friends says that Adam has lots of muscle in his legs but needs more muscles in the upper part of his body to balance himself better in the jumps and getting more height.
But he can rotate 3.5 times (the 3axels and the 4lutzes) in the air without problem, so getting the complete rotations on his triples is just a matter of time, in my opinion.
Oh, and the underrotations depend a lot of the technical controller in each competition. For example, the 3flip-3toe in his TEB SP got a < in the 3f and another < in the 3toe. But for me, being in the arena and seeing it live, and checking the replays later, the flip was correct but the 3toe should have got a <<. So I guess it also depends on the technical controller eyes.
needs more muscles in the upper part of his body to balance himself better in the jumps and getting more height. ------------------------ He can not have too much muscles in the upper part of body becouse he can lose flexibility on spins for level 4 and rotational speed on jumps, which is very high. So is must be a real balance.
Oh, yes, technical contorller was Frau Sissi Krick from German Fed, very strict woman. In Taipei it was Annett Pötsch-Rauschenbach, I think, they are very strict generally.
