As always, I'm a day late and a dollar short when it comes to commenting. Anyway, I say this as both a Jack *and* Kate fan but the third season premiere lost me. Really lost me. As in bugged/bored me so much I haven't bothered to watch the next episode even though I know it features characters I really like.

Then this episode, I couldn't help but roll my eyes.*snerk* There's a really great quite from Grey's Anatomy Shondra Rhimes where she states - 'men write women as they wish them to be, women write women as they are'. And that's my biggest complaint with the Kate character, especially in season two, she's being written as 'The Girl'. Yeah, sure she can be smart, or spunky, or occasionally kick some ass, but her primary role has been reduced to 'object of Jack/Sawyer's desire'. And it bugs.. seriously, seriously bugs ( ... )

Honestly, I haven't caught last weeks episode yet either. My VCR messed up (I so need TiVo since I work late shift) so I missed it. I found it and have it on my computer, but to be honest I was more concerned about watching The Nine than Lost. I just haven't been blown away or excited about Lost in a long time ( ... )
