Nice! I went to see a new NP at my doctor's office, and I was surprised to see a "love your body"-type postcard next to the requisite BMI chart. It said something like "Don't let your weight weigh down your self-esteem." :)

That's really refreshing! I personally think the whole BMI think is a bunch of bunk. It never takes into account frame size, build (big boobs, muscletone anyone?). Supposedly, my ideal weight for my height is 119 lbs. Let met tell you, I'd have to be sick as a dog (and bordering on anorexia) to be 119. Hell, at 135lbs I was starting to feel my pelvic bones when I sat! When I was a bike messenger, riding a bike for 45 hours a week, I weighed 140, which was PERFECTLY healthy.
