I've seen the Flirty Girl Fitness ad 18 times tonight

When I can't go to sleep, I end up watching music videos all night. It's actually kind of fun because at home, I have MTV, MTV2, VH1 and Fuse and all of them play videos really late. Of course, this also makes me want to ramble on about music a lot, so ( that's what I did )

music, tl;dr

If Cobra ever made it on Rolling Stone, I'd pretty much die laughing in the middle of whatever store I bought it at.

Also, God I hate All Time Low. I love a lot of shitty music but theirs is just really awful, and not just because of the misogyny. It's not even fun bad! It's just bad. Ugh.

I feel the same except for 'Damned If I Do Ya (Damned If I Don't)', but that's only because it's the biggest Marvelous 3 reject song to come along since 'Closet Full Of Love' by Puffy AmiYumi. And three guesses on who produced that one...

but it just really sucks that some of the bands could be having more successful albums if their label didn't blow.

I couldn't agree more. That's why hearing Cobra on the radio is so weird to me, but I guess having Blair Waldorf singing on your track will give you a little boost.

It would pretty much make my enitre life.

"Damned if I Do Ya" is a little catchy, I'll give them that. I still want them to go away, though.

Now that's a break-up.

Taking Back Sunday being on again reminds me of how ridiculous most of bandom is being about the Panic split.

Until there are t-shirts from the Panic! camp that say "still so young and desperate for attention", I'm not going to worry. They say that the split was amicable, and I'm going to believe them unless there's evidence to suggest that they're lying. The music that both bands have released have been so different that the split obviously was about musical difference, which is pretty tame, really. I mean, it's not like Ryan dated and then cheated on Spencer's little sister, or Brendon came onto Jon's girlfriend. TBS are like a litmus test of crazy breakups.

Yes, exactly! It seems really obvious that creative differences were the biggest reason and I don't really get why people keep insisting on it being something else.

I mean, it's not like Ryan dated and then cheated on Spencer's little sister, or Brendon came onto Jon's girlfriend.

LOL oh Long Island scene, you are all such hot messes.

FBR really, really sucked at promoting them. They don't (didn't) sound like anyone else on their label, so they had no idea what to do with them and just didn't promote them at all. It's such a shame, too, because the Hushies are all so legitimately good. I hope Bob and Greta's solo stuff is more rewarding for them.
