I must be almost finished with Persona 5 Royal! I've just entered the Palace on 3 February; here are my notes.

Yesss you got it! There is so much fanfiction about 2/2, it's just so fucking narratively juicy. Joker can choose to maintain Maruki's reality not because the world itself would be a better place, but just Akechi, like Joker already rejected Maruki in January but you have the option to make him decide actually that doesn't matter just for Akechi. People justifiably complain that P5 isn't great with queer content, but also Joker is just in love with Akechi no matter what, and it's great. I'm so happy you've finally seen the light and enjoy my terrible, terrible son.

Enjoy the rest of the game! When you get to the last day, be sure to go to Kichijoji. There's a little bit of dialogue outside Jazz Jin that appeals to Shuake fans.
