Since I was playing Royal with my roommate, who ships Akechi/Joker (I didn't at the time), I joked at her that Akechi kept taking me out on dates; unfortunately, it turns out that joking about a ship is the first step down the path to shipping it. I don't know if that'll happen with you, but hey, at least you're enjoying the confidant.
