After I first watched ERASED, back in 2016, I said I wasn't sure I'd ever watch it again. I really enjoyed it, but it was so intense I wasn't sure I'd be able to handle a rewatch.

As someone who is torn between "Yashiro's villain confession is so embarrassingly overwrought that I could barely take the show seriously afterwards and also it ruins the theme of Satoru only succeeding through his connections with others" and "Satoru's terror in the car scene hit one of my biggest storytelling kinks", I would 100% be down with your fic idea. And hey, given what the fandom's most popular pairing is, it's not like there's no audience for fucked up things.

The RED EYES OF EVIL become more hilarious every time they appear in that show.

I didn't discover until after posting this entry that Satoru/Yashiro is the biggest pairing in the fandom, and I'm weirdly delighted to know that incredibly fucked-up stuff still has a market in today's fandom climate.
