I'm fairly sure I only stopped doing the capslock/italics/overexaggeration/etc within the past two years, and I may be overestimating myself.

I don't think I'll ever entirely lose my fondness for italics and bursts of allcaps, but it's definitely for the best that I cut back. The italics overuse in my old fanfiction is a lot more painful than the overuse in my old journal entries.
