I said in my previous entry that an inability to grasp voices and a lack of historical context were the only things standing between me and writing terrible Alexander Hamilton/Aaron Burr fanfiction. Just after posting the entry, I found myself thinking that my inability to write smut is also an issue. This pairing (whether Hamilton-based or RPF)

Ahem. Less capslocky, you're pretty good at writing around the specific details while successfully portraying what's going on between the people (or, in some cases, cars) involved. I think you could make it work.

Is it more "not sure if can" or "not sure if would enjoy"? Because I have complete confidence you'd be capable of making something amazing, but if writing it would be stresssful or unfun, that's a good reason not to.

That would make more sense, wouldn't it?
