Are You Looking For Something? Like Your Dignity?

Do you ever find yourself 'shipping a pairing that is clearly never, ever going to happen? A pairing that makes absolutely no sense? Do you ever think 'you know, the idea of these characters getting together is fun to entertain, but I'm not going to hold out any hope of it happening in canon because it's obviously impossible ( Read more... )

I have actually managed to stop watching Glee mostly because I started watching other shows, and this got put on a back burner. And then got incinerated. Plus, I hated Rachel's little boy toy, whatshisface - he goes to her school, and he's the dimwit who first talked to her IN THE BATHROOM WHILE HE WAS NAKED AND IN THE SHOWER AND RACHEL WAS WASHING HER FACE, OMG WHAT THE HELL, SHOW, REALLY?!?!?! (bloody continuity errors in this show *grumblegrumble*)

And what? When did Waterloo Road come back... Again???

I think I need to stop watching Arrow and Supernatural and Jeremy Kyle - no need to judge me, I judge myself more. It's getting ridiculous with the sheer amount of shows I've ended up missing.

EDIT: Also, it seems that most things that you write about in your journal seem to come true... eventually. Congrats - not only do you have a monopoly on the Square Enix company, but your Livejournal account also has the power to manipulate some tv shows.

...

I have a confession to make. I didn't sleep very much at all last night and I was up very early this morning in order to try and be productive before I went out for the day, and I succeeded in being productive but also that kind of scrambled my already not-entirely-unscrambled brains.

So when I got your text, I thought...

...I thought you meant Finn from Waterloo Road. And I couldn't figure out who Emma was. And I was seriously confused, because I thought Finn had left Waterloo Road anyway, and I was like WHAT IS SHE WATCHING OLD EPISODES AND JUST SPOUTING STUFF TO CONFUSE ME

and it never occurred to me that you were talking about Glee

tl;dr I GET IT NOW

You're evidently still not awake enough to reply to the post itself rather than other people's comments, bless you.

I'd like to think that by 'I GET IT NOW' you mean that you understand why Finn/Emma delights me (I certainly don't), but I suspect that's too much to hope for.

WHAT

OH GOD

I'M SORRY, YUMIBOO

(No, I don't see the appeal of Finn/Emma, I'm afraid. But that's mainly because I find Finn only slightly more interesting than editing my dissertation footnotes.)

I suspect listening to you talk about Waterloo Road is far more entertaining than watching the actual show. There are probably other, less-entertaining parts mixed in with the underwear-flinging. (And I suspect no one has a daemon or a Pokemon.)

I completely agree with you. I was like hmm glee how the hell did you make me ship Finn/Emma.

I am so glad I'm not alone. I was rather disappointed that they didn't really explore it more in the next episode ('I Do'). I haven't seen any episodes beyond that, though, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
