That was amazing!

I so hope the sequel explains about the the Worst and Most Despair-Inducing Incident in the History of Mankind, because I am having ALL THE THOUGHTS about it. (It's...probably not good that my brain immediately went "How would I go about ruining the world and driving all of mankind into despair?")

There's a prequel novel that orenronen is also planning to translate, so we may well find out more about the Worst, Most Despair-Inducing Event in the History of Mankind! (How... how would you go about ruining the world and driving all of mankind into despair?)

Ooh, interesting! (Well, poisoning the air sounds like a good idea. I'd make it strong enough to eventually kill off a large percentage of the population, and gradual, so people would have plenty of time to anticipate their deaths. I'd also pass it off as the apparent unexpected consequence of some sort of "We're all fine with that" pollution source, such as cars or power plants, so there's added "We did it to ourselves!" guilt
