Jane's conduct in the penultimate episode of that series alarmed me quite a lot. That's - that's really not an acceptable method of extracting a confession, Jane.

The fifth series started last week in the States, I think, but I don't know when it'll reach these shores; I hope it'll be within the next month or two. I'm a little nervous about where Jane is going to go from here. He just keeps getting scarier!

Yeah, he hasn't got many lines left to cross. (Which, I'm sure, is utterly thrilling Red John.)

I quite enjoy Elementary, because a) I like crimeshows every now and then and b) I don't want to punch this Holmes in the face.

But he's not Sherlock Holmes if he doesn't occasionally need a punch in the face, surely! I did want to punch him in the face a couple of times, but that's really as it should be.

I am still at the eyerolling stage with this Holmes, whereas BBC!Holmes I want to punch in the face nearly every ten minutes, which I think is a bit too often.

I find your Sherlock Holmes tag ridiculously charming and I have no idea why.

I'm afraid I don't know what the Merlin theme sounds like, so I can't help but read your subject line to the tune of Jolene.

...and now I'm hearing it as well.

(Curiously, I was thinking of the 'Karl Dilkington' letter just before you commented. I wasn't just thinking about Karl Pilkington; I was specifically thinking about the Dilkington error. It's not something I think about terribly often! I was quite surprised to see your display name on the e-mail alert.)

Oh, fun fact: this also works with film themes. I can't remember if I've given you my rendition of the Pirates of the Caribbean theme yet...

I believe we've dueted to the Pirates of the Caribbean theme. It works remarkably well.
