I am suitably ashamed of myself for the title, but curiously unashamed of myself for writing a My Little Pony/Merlin fic in the first place. It makes so much sense!

Omg, friendship truly is magic, WHICH YOU MUST KEEP SECRET OR DIE!! I enjoyed it thoroughly, but bizarrely my favorite bit is that our 'Merlin and Morgana' are communicating about magic!issues: that they utterly failed to is one of my big, obvious pet peeves about the series, not because I blame Merlin for not being more forthcoming given his awareness of their class differences and the increased danger for him, but because the show is like a comedy of manners where roughly infinity things would be improved by clearer or more empathetic communication, and that's such an instance. Merlin didn't precisely need to say 'LET US BE MAGIC-USING HOMIES, MORGS', so much as to be a bit more 'I understand what you're going through... because of that canon dead magic-user friend of mine! Poor baby.' And don't get me started on Gaius and the Unnecessary Secrets of Great Inaction.

Also genius use of Pinkie Pie.

Thank you! I also wish that Merlin had communicated with Morgana about her developing magic; it felt like such a missed opportunity. (Does Morgana know that Merlin has magic now? I've completely lost track by this point. I suppose she doesn't, because if she did she'd take him into account more in her schemes (and she'd probably try to expose him).)

I love how you managed to adapt merlin to the MLP univers and still make it quite dark (the removing-horn part and the execution! ;___________;)

And rainbow dash as Arthur? This is WIN! \o/

And fluttershy as Gaius (or kind of) and and... well... I LOVE THIS TO NO END!!!
