Just Typing This Is Making Me Want IX Icons.

I don't talk much about Final Fantasy IX here, which is odd, because it's one of my favourite Final Fantasy games. One of the reasons for my lack of speaking about it is the fact that, although it is a great deal of fun (and I never quite understood how it managed that when the storyline is one of the saddest in the series, but it's probably ( Read more... )

I really didn't like Eiko the first time I've played, but I came around to her eventually. And Vivi is adorable!

I am quite sad that, as Kefka's evil laugh actually has a sound effect (and as it's rendered as 'Uwahaha', which doesn't quite work), I cannot imagine that he is laughing like Jessie. Kuja is far superior in this respect.

Oh, yes, I adore the active time events! Also the way your party keeps switching around. It's a bit annoying if you haven't been training all the characters up (WHAT DO YOU MEAN I HAVE TO FIGHT THIS BOSS WITH ONLY ZIDANE AND QUINA?), but it's quite nice that you end up playing with all the cast, rather than settling on four characters and never giving the others a second glance.

(I have never watched How I Met Your Mother, although it is on my list of Things I May Check Out If I Get The Chance.)

It was one of those beautiful moments when everything falls perfectly into place. It's just a shame it was about a Death Note/Twilight crossover, rather than, say, my dissertation.

Hmm... FFIX never really grabbed me when I played through it... which is sad because it had everything in it I was hoping for. Freya and Vivi were my favourite characters though.

Also, yes, Chocobo Hot and Cold, possibly the best thing about the game? When I was done on it I was going: "Now what? ...oh, right, should see about that 'main plot' thing..."

I love it as a game, but I've never really viewed it as a fandom; it's not something I really feel compelled to read or write for. Which makes me a bit sad.

I spend so much time just prancing around on Choco whenever I play that game. FORTY-SOMETHING CHOCOGRAPHS: CLEARLY INSUFFICIENT.

Think about it: Edward Cullen is a powerful and dangerous (and hot) teenage boy. Bella is hopelessly in love with him. He could hurt her, but of course he would never do that.

That is the most logical thought in the history of logic. Bella is pretty in the "I'm totally not pretty! I'm too pale! But all the guys stare at me!" way, Edward's irresistibly drawn to her, and all the warnings, delays in her getting what she wants, and moments of being pushed away are signs of well-meaning protectiveness from people who just don't get how special and destined their love is.

Although now I'm trying to cast L as Jacob, and my head hurts.

At least your headache is for a good cause!

It's no use. I keep getting sidetracked by that Top Gear/Twilight version in which Richard's the Bella-substitute exchange student with the vampire-attracting scent, who keeps hurting himself not due to clumsiness but due to his conviction that kicking evil vampires in the balls is a good idea, and using large quantities of dynamite on them is a better one, Jeremy's an adopted Cullen with a beige Volvo and a tendency to get into a blazing row with Alice over whether Porsches are rubbish or not, and James is the deeply scruffy young man adopted by the local Indian tribe who ends up turning into a werewolf.

I am now obviously going to have to search for utter proof that Misa is really the brain behind Twilight. Along with the way Stephenie Meyer fits in. A noble task, I'm sure.

Your icon is making me think that Lisbon has set herself this project, which is a bit bizarre.

Well, my mind went 'I'm doing a bit of detecting, right? So why not use Lisbon? Her facial expression fits perfectly?' But now, I want Jane making Lisbon figure out this whole convoluted thing, just for the lolz and chances to show how he totally sparkles better than any stupid vampire.
