Have I Mentioned That You Are Amazing?

Jul 20, 2009 15:54

I received a fabulously creepy letter from Allegedly Derren Brown today! He expressed his deep disappointment at my failure to participate in Enigma, wished me a happy birthday and concluded with the following paragraph:

Many plans have been made and, without giving everything away, I and several of your friends would be very glad to see you at ( Read more... )

"Oh, dear," Derren says. "I appear to have dropped my Death Note."

This is the best thing I have read all day.

GIRLPROMPT: Alex Drake! Sam Tyler! SOMEONE'S GONNA NEED AN ASPIRIN AT THE END OF ALL THIS.

Jeremy tries to get Richard and Sienna Miller into a "Wantonly destroying cars while being cute" competition. He may or may not fail pathetically at this.

Annie sees the Test Card Girl.

Bela escapes.

Chell encounters her uncle, the Stig.

Winry does something awesome involving building or repairing prosthetics.

ETA: Hungary from Hetalia helps Italy with something.

Tosh is inexplicably resurrected in the universe of your choice, and has to figure things out.

(Major spoilers for episode 3x21 of Supernatural.)

There's nowhere to run to. She sealed the hotel room as best as she could, but the dogs broke in, and now she's out in the forest and she's been running for what feels like fucking forever and her legs won't move properly and there's nowhere to goAnd then her ankle buckles and she hits the ground and that's it, she's going to die. She draws in sharp breaths and looks up through her dishevelled hair, because if she can't get away she can at least look them in the eye before they tear her to pieces ( ... )

I am still very, very sad that they never met. They could have had such a fun dynamic!

I've started playing Sims 2, and littlemoose has explained to me how get a Zombie Sim, and it requires someone to have a career in the Paranormal, so obviously I made a Derren Brown Sim and a Piers Morgan Sim, and they're currently in University, studying Psychology and Economics. Derren Brown is already having fun influencing other Sims to do the cleaning up.

Therefore, my prompt is Derren Brown and Piers Morgan, university roommates! Martha Jones unfortunately (for her) also lives in the same house, because let's face it, Derren could use a medical doctor every now and then.

That Sims household sounds amazing.

(Also, I haven't watched any third-series episodes for a long time, so I fear my Martha characterisation may be rather wobbly. Sorry.

This was a lot of fun to write, though.)

It's strange: one of her potential housemates (what was his name? Darren?) sees Martha off after the viewing with a hand on her arm and a smile, and she walks away knowing she wants to accept the room but unable to quite place why.

-Martha hasn't been living with Piers and Derren for long before she decides that she's never going to trust her instincts again ( ... )

Piers' favourite hobby is dancing in front of the stereo. I think he prefers it over eating.

And hee, poor Martha! Subjected to Zombie Piers AND Derren and his influencing!

I imagine his dancing skills will decrease somewhat when he becomes a zombie. Rather sad, really.

Also, writing this led to my pondering whether living with Derren Brown or Zombie Piers Morgan would be more endurable. It says a lot about how alarming Derren Brown is that pondering was actually necessary.

I would absolutely love to read about Riza and Winry, discussing the Elric brothers' latest adventure (which has, of course, put Ed in the hospital again).
