Digital Camera Woes

So it's come to my attention that as good as my phone is with pictures, they're still not coming out how I want them. For phone pictures they're great, but for website pictures I need something that can make clearer pics

Tell me about it...it seriously takes sometimes a lot of patience to make good pictures. most of the time, I make like 2 or 3 photos in order to see which one of those would look best. Though most of the time, it's a pain anyways and none of them end up good XD

I'm not very patient at all so this is incredibly annoying. Lol

I usually end taking about 7 pics per item (two or three pics of the front, back, sides and what not) so I totally understand where you're coming from. It's such a pain when none of them turn out right. And I can't fully see them until they're on the computer so I usually start out with 80 pics and end up with maybe 20. ;-;

ALL OF THIS!!! That's exactly how I end up with it as well, taking many pictures and then only choose a few...well, some do not end up as good anyways and yet I post them on my collection site..collection sites are hard to keep up with sometimes XD

Lmao I think I took 50 pictures while playing with this camera. Every single one had to get deleted. But the list of stuff that needs pics is getting too long so I just used my phone. xD

I can't post pictures that turn up well on my site. Main reason I can't seem to completely eliminate things that I need to take pictures of.

Haha I know! Ive been so lazy to retake good pictures of my collection items. I just use my phone because its convenient and has like 13 MP? Im also making a collection website now. Show you when I finish. But also doesn't help that my collection is at home and I'm at school.... Heartland Lucario is the only one with me at school so I can't do a collection shot of all the plushies yet. I want to but I wanna keep Heartland Lucario with me at school! haha~ So I see that you placed your collection in a glass display case? Nice! Ive been looking for one! The best one I see so far is the one from Ikea but I'm wondering if it will be too small for my collection? But I don't want to put them in a regular bookcase, too afraid of dust.... Any suggestions?

Your pictures actually turn out very nice. I've considered upgrading my phone to one with a better camera (Samsung or HTC most likely). I won't have a choice at some point because my phone's been glitching lately.

I think for now I'm good but there's some stuff that I badly need to retake pics for. Most notably anything with an obvious glare and Heartland Tomy. Speaking of, you took that giant thing with you to school lol?

Most of my Riolu stuff is in the case. Clearfiles, notebooks, a couple double plushies, and Riona aren't in there. I went for a glass case because I don't like dust. I talked to a few people who had bookcase like displays first though. They said they don't gather dust very easily (of course that varies by room), and for the most part it was just towards the front of the shelves.

Which one from Ikea were you thinking? I can probably tell you if it would be too small.

Thanks! I currently have a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and I really like Samsung! Maybe you should consider the new Samsung Galaxy S5 coming out in April? 16 Mp I think.

Haha ya. When I bought it, I shipped it to school so its been here, keeping me company and guarding my bed xD

Oh so not all of your collection is in there? Ya I spoke to a few people about the bookcase display situation, they said stuff in the middle and back don't really get dusty, just the stuff in the front.

I might go for the S4 since it should be going down in price. I'll also looking at HTC since I think they recently had a phone with a good camera.

No, out of my 4 shelves 3 of them are solely Riolu. And it's missing all that stuff I said earlier. Only the bottom shelf has Lucario because Riolu alone is gonna take up those three shelves once my stuff gets here. =/

I guess it depends on how quickly your room gathers dust? Mine can usually go a month without needing dusting so a bookcase would have been an option but I just don't wanna deal with it.

I was considering that case. Looking at the measurements it's not as wide as mine but it's taller. You're definitely gonna need some sort of display stairs to take advantage of that space. Aaaand your collection may fit in there depending on what you have. All of it probably won't but most of might.
