Oh yes. In an effort to get my writing going again, I've resorted to quickies. Working on my countless WIP's has hit a slump (believe it or not I actually have worked on them regularly) so let's hope this excercise helps.

You shouldn't like it, it's barely there and poorly executed. Woe is me ^_^

Smut will come as soon as I get myself into gear... That's the trouble I'm having, I can't move on from gen stuff to the hot sexxors.

It's a lot more thoughtful and thought-provoking than anything that goes through my mind as fic ideas, and Tatsumi being married to his work, as it were, is pretty much spot on.

If I wasn't having problems up the wazoo right now, I'd suggest us collaborating on a fic because I can probably churn out the hot sexxors in my sleep but can't use interesting vocabulary, plot or thought-provoking ideas to save my life!!

That does sound tempting! I actually have a whole page of Tsuzuki yapping on about his relationship (established) with Hisoka, but just can't get to the juicy bits to save his life! *facepalm*

Nothing, just the fact that he's married to his office materials and the clip is just not providing the fun anymore. Relationships, what a trouble.

And it's definitely an allegory to me and writing; stale and in the slumps.

Oh, OK! That all fits now. I led myself astray. I thought the folder must be something long-finished, since Tatsumi knew the contents so well. If it said somewhere that the folder was a work in progress I would hopefully have picked up the allegory. Having having Tatsumi observe a day full of typical fanfic events that way is a really clever idea.

Hmm, I did mean to imply that he's taking the work home with him to work on it some more, but I see I didn't imply it well enough. Put that on the "it made more sense in my head" column.
