This is going to sound totally out of left field, but...Timothy Leary, when he had his psychiatrist hat on, talked a lot about the importance of set and setting in getting your head right. Take some time to meditate/think about the things in your life that are making you miserable, and change them. Not guaranteeing it's going to be easy or fun, but you're obviously someplace you don't want to be, doing things you don't want to do, with people you don't want to be with. One or all of those things needs to change for you to be happy. N.B.: This isn't unique to Leary, he's just the first guy I ran into that expressed the notion in those terms.

~hugs~ I am here in the afternoons not doing much at all. You are more than welcome to come over. Also I have a car and can drive now so if you need a ride back or to my house that's possible. The upstairs bedroom is always open for you.
