I almost ate this today. I usually eat balut without looking but this time I did look and thank god I did!

Please DO NOT click if you:

1. are eating
2. are easily disgusted
3. aren't used to exotic asian dining
4. are a vegetarian / a chick lover

Ewwww! )

yeah my cuzin is a manager for mcdonald's and he said it's only available in 5 mcdonald's branches nationwide. umm st. francis square, katipunan avenue, south highway, and two other branches i forgot. such a bummer. i always order it though whenever i go to lipa. ^-^

Omg..that's so weird. I've never heard of that-balut.
As for the chicken sandwich...we don't have it where I live. It looks tasty...but the mayo looks a little thick.

Here here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Balut .

Yeah it's really tasty! It has this Asian taste to it too (I think it's the sauce they used for the 'rice' buns).

Balut doesn't disgust me, but it really makes me wonder what it tastes like! :b That McDonald's Crispy Chicken Rice Burger looks really good! does it have rice instead of a bun?

It tastes good actually! Even the chick part. I can eat as much as 4 in one sitting. XD

Yup! It has special rice molded into the shape of a bun. ^-^

Ohh I think it's only available in few Asian countries. I don't think it will sell in the west lol.
