Thanks for the TLC :) I'm crashed out with my puppies and my unabridged Chronicles of Narnia book, which I'm managing to get about four chapters down before dozing off again.
Is it viral, or bacterial? Take good care of yourself, drink loads of water (it helps keep the junk in your lungs productive), and take any meds they gave you on schedule.
We caught my son's early. He went to school with just cold symptoms and came home early after lunch with a 104.5 temp and lethargy. Started complaining 2 hrs later of his chest hurting. Took him to urgent care (Dr. was then closed), and he was treated immediately with IV drugs. He had to go back for a shot the next day (thank God this kid's a trooper), and then we finally got the blood work back as to what type of bug was causing it. He was up and around in 2 days once we got rid of the fever.
I hope that you are better soon. I had an upper resp. infection for 6 weeks in Nov/Dec, that I thought I was going to kill me. I thought it was either pneumonia or bronchitis, but it was neither -- just a severe infection that took 2 rounds of antibiotics.
