The exam season that apparently just started, as usual, proves to be productive to everything except studying. I made some kitty-food money, baked scones (and, Sake, this time they're perfect! Now, by "fondling the butter" I meant that after you throw chunks of butter in the flour, you have to pick up every chunk and rub it between your fingers so it forms those smaller, flake-shaped chunks, like oatmeal or cornflakes. THEN you add the rest of the ingredients and you can bake it. The last time I just left the chunks big and the dough pretty much melted in the oven and spilled out of the molds, hah.
