This is so freaking perfect - thank you for writing it! You've certainly got nothing to worry about 'cause you did our 'verse justice! And beyond that, you actually captured the whole "tattoo shop" artist/customer relationship very well! I actually have the same type of relationship with my tattoo artist. I give him a general idea of what I want, and he runs with it - and it's always perfect. And I can so see Evan being a little nervous about tattooing David, and David's implicit trust of Evan.
