Made this recipe: http://www.injennieskitchen.com/2010/11/crisp-chocolate-chip-cookies.html and will bake the cookies tomorrow. The dough is good, though I'm not used to tasting molasses. I've never used molasses before. Also, waiting for the ( Read more... )

If I forget to soften the butter I stick it in the microwave for a tiny while. Half-power if you feel like it lol.

I heard nuking it isn't the same as letting it sit on the counter, and I tend to melt mine by accident. But, in a pinch, you do what needs doing. Cookies!

The recipe I linked above says to roll the dough into logs, then slice and bake. It also links to the version where you just scoop/roll the dough into balls, which I like better. Either way, beware, they are quite addicting.
