Boboli pizza with real, shredded by me, Precious brand mozzerella, was heavenly. Tossed some zucchini on it as well, but the cheese made it wonderful. Foods from childhood, such as the mozzerella or broccoli with mayonnaise, always taste incredible ( Read more... )

The mayo & broccoli remind me of my dad & brothers. They used to eat broccoli with mayo, as well as green beans and corn.

I saw my students put mayo on their corn before, but that's the only time I'd heard of it.

Traditionally Mexicans and other Hispanics grill corn, slather on mayo, sprinkle on some cheese (cotija) and sprinkle chili powder on it. Sometimes they make a deconstructed version called esquite.

I don't know if I've applied this theory to real life yet, but I definitely embrace it whole-heartedly when it comes to characters/reality show people I like and don't like. Boston Rob? Love. He never pretended to be anything other than he was.

I can't think of anyone personally off the top of my head that I was never able to trust. Now I know of one in particular that managed to make me think he was actually ok, and then blew it. Maybe that feeling of deception is what bothers me most.
