First of all, I thought the play was marvelous.

Second, not to be mean, but I hope I don't end up like you. And I thank you for helping me learn the lesson not to leave myself open to regret when I graduate.

Third, don't look at it like cutting ties, but just giving the threads more distance, but there's planes and trains and automobiles. Internet, phones, telegrams, and in Jewell's case carrier pigeons.

"I just really regret not getting to know people better sooner", "I just can help looking back and wonder 'where did the time go?'" I just don't wanna regret anything or not make the most of every minute. I know thats unrealistic and it'll happen anyway but I can wish.
