Light didn't even bother to respond, instead he flicked his wand and opened the door that way, the look in his eyes quite sufficient enough to foretell just how serious he was at the moment.

Once Mikami was inside he shut the door and whispered a spell of silencing, so no one would be able to eavesdrop if they tried. He was always, seated in his armchair, but today there would be no hint of a smile or casual grace-- he was both excited and pissed at the same time. He had said too much. Entirely too much. But if what Seimei had said had even a hint of truth in it, at least he would be amused from now on or perhaps better. That still didn't change the fact that he had let himself become careless... but it was still tempting.

"Sit." Light said, finally speaking to Mikami. " A lot has happened, but before I even start... do you love me, Teru?" At this point, he was already in too deep, and he needed to be assured of Mikami's loyalty. He hated relying on anyone but himself but with the current situation...
