Blocked to all but Malik Malik, I have an entry entirely devoted to you. Isn't it wonderful? It started off as a simple musing. You should be flattered ( Read more... )

(((I made a PTDC entry for them. I want to see what other people have to say about that. It's funny and fascinating at the same time...

Comment? To correct me? Ah, Pearl-san, you're such a hero. ^_~)))

(OOC: It's called a burka or burqa. It's common in Afganistan and Egypt. I think the other, smaller veils that only cover the head are called hajib. A veil, as you know already, refers to all head coverings, regardless of length and coverage.)

*mutters, just loud enough for Bakura to hear* We could have just done this the other way around. I fit in better here than you do... and I wouldn't have to waste time putting on fake tan!

(OOC: I know what you're talking about, but I'm thinking of a different style of burkha. It's techincally called a niqāb, but the word burkha is often interchanged. And, yes, Malik could be doing a lot under there, but I'm not just talking about grining. Think... lower :D)

*snorts and turns around* No. We could not have done this the other way around. You forget, I am the one who understands our final destination this evening. And you clearly also underestimate the quality and the thought I put into disguises. *wipes off his hands and begins pinning up his hair* I think on this quite a bit more than you, you'll find. *pauses and glares at him* Your veil is lopsided once agian. And don't you think I don't know what gesture you just made towards me.

(((OOC: How far down are we talking about when you say "lower"? Wiggling his toes? Flicking Baku off?)))

*keeps his voice down but still retains his sarcasm* What gesture? I didn't do anything. Really Bakura, don't be so paranoid. *snorts* Pfft. I can't do anything about the veil- I can get it to stay straight. You wouldn't be able to either- and does it reallymatter? *sigh* Hurry up and get this over with. I'm just as frustrated as you are...

(OOC: Above the knees and below the waist :D Of course, this is a hypothetical conversation...)

*Bakura snorts and turns around, finishing off his face, his hands, and his neck, rummaging again in the decidedly more wilted-looking bag*
I doubt your frustration at time wasted in ignorance compares to my considerable annoyance with your obnoxious habits. Ah.
*Bakura suddenly pauses and withdraws a series of plasitc bags from which he removes what look like very neat selections of black human hair* *he smirks at Malik's expression* Watch and learn.

*rolls eyes* How about I watch in disinterest and boredom, and not learn anything? Your fault, of course...

ringedmenace February 5 2008, 21:59:33 UTC
*Bakura shrugs* Suit yourself. I take no personal responsibility for your own actions. I'd prefer you didn't learn a thing, in fact, and so make it all the easier for me to do as I please. Go on. *begins attaching the hair to his face for a beard* Suit yourself. My desire for fairness alone is all that keeps me from walking away this very instant and leaving you to suffer the effects of your own impatience. *flashes his teeth in a scary grin* Patience can accomplish a great many things, after all.

(OOC: Thank you! *glomp* Now do your homework! ^O^)

Pfft. Patience has gotten me nowhere. Then again, there's a difference between patience and procrastinating, isn't there?

*raises eyebrows and smirks* Precisely, because your view of the world is far too stunted as to what you will do tomorrow or who you will sleep with tonight. I wouldn't expect you to grasp the concept of patience. *turns around again at Malik fumes and cuts him off when he makes to speak*

I've been patient for thousands of years, and have had my plans foiled time and time again, in the end, however, I have no doubt my persistance will bear my desired ends. *waves a hand to indicate his body while pinning his long hair up and pulling the close-cropped wig overtop* If this shell happens to fail before that time, I have only to inhabit the ring once again, and wait longer.

*checks to be sure the wig is attacked firmly by means of pins* In the end, however long it may take me, I will see him obliterated between the teeth of Ammit. *turns around and grins, suddenly an arab man with a full beard--there's no warmth at all in his smile*

Patience is one thing neither you nor your pathetic darker half with your hot-burning angers could ( ... )

*hisses* I will NOT fail! *glares* If it weren't for you baiting me here, putting me in girl's clothes, and dragging me on whatever adventure you're planning, I'd be back home, using my time to find a way- ANY way- I can get Mariku back! Everytime I get the courage to face him, ASSHOLES like YOU burst in and distract me! I just want Mariku to trust me! To hold me! TO LOVE ME, GODDAMNIT! IS THAT TOO MUCH TO FUCKING ASK?!

*clams down, gasping* Let's... get this over with, Bakura. *glares* I have more important things to do than waste my time talking to you about Ra-knows-what!

(OOC: So it's true what they say; You can find anything on the internet...)

*folds his arms* Too much to ask? hmph. Clearly you're overstepping the phrase "I ask no more of them than what I ask of myself." in many ways. I always found your deranged love affair to be rather...hm...mythical for my taste. Also I'm unclear as to whether it's actually incestuous or merely narcissistic, but no matter. I didn't ask you here to be didactic or rant about your ill-conceived nightly encounters.

*turns and gestures for Malik to follow him*
Has it ever occured to you, that it's singularly odd for a being with the power to imitate anyone to choose a man with special importance to you, in another country? *looks back at Malik* Any ideas? Any thoughts?

milleniumkeeper February 26 2008, 00:15:51 UTC
It's not that odd. *leers, not liking where the conversation is going, but he knew when he left that this subject was a possibility of why Bakura would want to talk to him * Not if you have all the facts- the truth, that is. I know what you're thinking, Bakura, and why you even give a damn is beyond me, but let me tell you, whatever you've pieced together in your mind, it's wrong.

*rolls his eyes* Oh bugger it all, I don't have time for this. I will tell you even now, I don't give a damn about your sex life. Take the hint. The world hardly revolves around your dramatic infidelities or imagined infidelities. I asked the question in an entirely different sense!
Why would the creature even know about that if the events that made you two close, happened far from where you were at the time of the attack?
*glares at Malik* Naturally, you were too busy trying to deny whatever sick twisted fantasies you were having to even consider things froma view other than your own, weren't you? I'm not surprised in the least... *scowls ahead*

*frowns, realizing and regretting his defensive reply, and sighs, feeling defeated* That changeling knew because... It- or maybe another demon- must have been at Zigfried's castle on Halloween night. I know that Zigfried, Atem and Dartz sensed a demon somewhere during that accident. *looks away, thinking hard despite who's asking the questions, wanting answers himself* That's the only way it could have known that I can produce Soul Fragments, and the only way it could have known about Zigfried...
