You can take your pick: either they both have speaker phone functions on their cellls - pretty common these days, or she's got a hands-free device, or the phone's on the bed next to her ear.

Hmm...that phone sex was really hot. I shouldn't have read this in the middle of the afternoon, but I did enjoy it.

Logan would so something like this, and just decide to meet her when she left him, and it worked really well.
