So Erin called this morning at 9 to let me know that nearly everyone/everything around us (including her apartment) is without power. Thankfully we're apparently in one of those tiny pockets WITH power, hence my present update.

I'm supposed to be going over to see viewpoints later, but I'm going to wait and see if/when normal subway service gets restored
