Danny seems like the... obvious? choice. But then I think all of them have something in them that if they were pushed too far.

It was the one before Aiden. I think... Declawed.

I'll have to rewatch. But...if that's the case, then I think the hint was more toward Web.

Some people didn't get "Aiden" (like me) and had to download it (as well as all of the other NON-US aired eps) and having watched it again, I don't think that was the "last episode" he had in mind.

And his reluctance to name the ep makes me think he might have gotten ahold of the tapes/eps that the UK has.

So, you know we'll all be waiting with baited breath come ep 13.

Cause me? You know I think it's Paul. Cause I don't LIKE Paul.

(Although, I did just write that damn fic--thanks to you--that suggests Danny has a violent past)

I don't think we have to guess Danny has a violent past at all. Tim said so in that article, I think, that Danny may have been charged to torturing people in the military, and that he may have liked it.

Either that article or another I read, anyway.

But you know, the show just kinda gives off that vibe for him. Because even after having only watched those first 7, I'd already started to imagine that Danny has first hand experiance with serial killing.

I've just watched all 13, but I think that episode that hints one of the team might be a serial killer at heart/if things were different is Declawed. Which, I think, was the final ep to air in the states.

I love them all. Even Web!

But I think you're right. I've been turning it over in my mind over and over again and that's definitely the closest to hinting at it. But other than Web doing whatever it takes to catch the killer... what other hints were there?

Spoiler warning for Declawed

I guess it was mostly down to the fact that Web has no life outside his job. And while they were profiling the unsub they said that while he had something to focus his energies on he was safe. Web has his "dolls" to play with and his cases to solve. But were something traumatic to happen, like retirement then maybe he'd be pushed over the edge.

I don't buy it though. I mean, sorta till the episode played out. But it was more vague hints and "anyone can be ebil" ;)

When I win the euromillions I'll commission a new season of the Inside and we'll find out. Right after I pay for a sequel to Serenity.

Oh God. You're so right. My roommate and I had the exact same conversation that drew the parallels between the Unsub and Web in that episode. I completely forgot that we had.

I completely buy into it. Web is unhinged. It just so happens that he has a job that invites that. Out in the real world...he'd be a mess.

So would Rebecca.

Which is why she needs to gravitate toward Paul, Mel and Danny rather than Web. I look forward to seeing the battle over her eternal soul play out when you commission the return of the show. ;)
