Except that we wouldn't see him. I can't imagine that they're going to do the CC as a live character; CG is almost the only realistic way it could be done. So I just want his voice. Only, I want it in Spike mode, 'cause his normal voice is really...dippy.
But the Brit accent...yummy!

'Sides, the CC had a bit of a Brit accent in the game.

So did Alice, for that matter, which might be one of the reasons I'm not so sprazzed with SMG in the role.

There have to be better actresses available for Alice. As for CC, yes, the voice must have that Brit accent.

But the problem is finding young enough, but with the physical capabilities necessary, and able to pull off the (granted, not too demanding) emotional range.

Never liked SMG...which was why I never liked Buffy. So...dunno how I feel about this casting choice.

I know for a fact she can do the physical. And she ought to be able to pull of the necessary breakdowns and/or attitude (she did enough of them, and decently enough, in Buffy), but I'm still a little...dunno...disappointed? Not that at this point I could name an actress I'd prefer...although someone online had heard that Natalie Portman was supposedly in talks to do it awhile back, and I can say that would have been an unmitigated disaster.
