So people seem to be posting lists of the books they read in 2004 in some of the book communities. I don't really feel the need to share this information with the whole world, but I will share it with the lovely people who are bored enough to read my journal. WOW, you've read a lot. I've only read a very few small handful of your reading list. hmm Charlotte Perkins Gilman, I enjoy... Kate Chopin... Harry Potter (but of course)... oh yeah, and LotR (haha).

Have The DaVinci Code sitting on my bookshelf waiting for me to finish The Picture of Dorian Gray. Jen (niff) is going to be giving me some Terry Pratchett novels. Ever heard of him? She says he's the funniest writer she's ever read.

Read Angels & Demons before you read The Da Vinci Code! I've never read The Picture of Dorian Gray. How do you like it? I've certainly heard of Terry Pratchett as some of my friends rave about him and he seems to be mentioned quite a bit in the book communities. I'll give him a shot sometime. So many books to read!

I would totally, totally recommend Dorian Gray. I'm loving it with an intense passion. Really wonderful, psychological stuff.

OK, and Angels & Demons, you say? Will look for that.

Once I've read the Terry Pratchett novels I'll give you my own review, though they do sound really good just from what Jen's told me!

Okay, I'm totally reading Dorian Gray!

Angels & Demons has the same main character as The Da Vinci Code, and it takes place first, chronologically. Also, I like it better (though I do love The Da Vinci Code).
