Notes: Written for shifty-gardener whose loving sisters furloughday and crazykookie bought her the piece for her birthday in the Purple Dove auction.

( In his career with the Navy, Steve had been in many parts of the world and had seen many beaches. Nothing he had seen compared to the variety of sandy expanses found in Hawaii, and nothing, nothing had prepared him for the insanity of Seaside Heights, New Jersey. )

Beaitfully written, lovely description of the area. ^_^ Steve cracked me up with his Oompa Loompa quip, he's right some of those Jersey Shore girls really do look over the top and kind of trashy.

Anyway there were lots of things I like about this story. Their bantering, Grace, Danny's amazing family, persistent Steve getting Danny to admit his love of Hawaii. And lots and lots more.

Thanks for the nice finishing touch of my day.

The writing in this was nice and tight, always enjoy that.
I love the three beaches tying the whole thing together.

Really beautifully written. I like the humor, the banter, and the mushy moments. Sweet piece of fic. Thanks for posting it. I like how this talks about family. :)

I think I stared at the show with my chin hitting my chest LOL My 16 year old son came down and asked 'why are you watching this?' then laughed at my explanation. As for the 'awwww' sure, go ahead ;)
