Oh happy kitten day with rainbows and unicorns, Supernatural was excellent tonight last week!!!! I finally got to watch "Fresh Blood" and I'm beyond thrilled with the ep. the horribly executed blood effect on Dean's arm in the beginning (ROFL as the blood gets triggered and is pouring out the tube before Dean actually touches it to his arm),

Oh thank god I'm not the only one who saw that! When I downloaded the ep, I played it frame by frame just to see if what I'd seen on the tv was indeed the blood pouring too soon. 'Cause I was thinking there's NO WAY a blade is THAT sharp to pierce skin with its mere proximity. :P

You mentioned every point that has stuck with me from the ep and I agree totally with what you said. It was, indeed, a Perfect Episode for Supernatural.

LOL... I kinda loved it. Especially because Jensen was workin' the moment with the screwed-up face and wincing. Apparently he got really into it since he squeezed the bladder too early and sent the blood up the tubing pre-cut.

So yeah...a goof. but I kinda loved the show for it.

Definitely my favorite episode of the season, and I'm pretty sure in my top 10 for the series thus far....

Here's my assessment:

Sera Gamble + Sterling Brown + The Ackles and The Puppy's Impala Bonding = Brilliance.Gordon (Sterling Brown) = was perfection. And a fantastic, gory, karmic end to a great villian ( ... )
