I actually made this one a while back, but I'm glad I was able to do so beforehand.
Juan Precopio Magsaysay
Personalidad: Juan is a very hard-working person. He'll wake up even before the sun rises, to work, do chores or anything else that was left unfinished for him to continue on. He's a very forgiving person as well, and is quick to accept offered friendships without giving it much thought. He makes it a point to keep in touch with his friends and have a get together. He is very family-oriented and loves to keep his relatives close by for support and fun. He is also very fond of drama and romance, and is very religious. But sometimes when faced with a difficult situation, Juan will just say "Bahala na sa Diyos" translation: "Leave it all to God"
Pag-uugaling Nakasanayan (Habits): Some weird things Juan might do is point with his lips, when passing by a TV might clasp his hands in a prayer-like position and duck as if swimming, also enjoys eating with his hands, usually arrives at things late and smiles for no reason. He also likes getting people's attention by going "Psssst!" which to other countries, is pretty rude.
Kinagigiliwan (Hobbies): He loves gossiping, and adores traveling. Once he went over Japan's house and was amazed by how entertained he was with Kareoke. Now, he got one of his own and his neighbors won't stop complaining. He likes to drink beer with his pals as well, with some snacks they call "pulutan". He is fond of street food and loves making the food he eats, sweet.
Maikling Talambuhay: Long before his Onii-san arrived, Phil. was already developing a culture on his own, but on that fateful day Onii-sama arrived on his shores, he offered him his friendship through "Blood Compact" or "Sandugo". Spain onii-sama taught him how to improve his life through different means like new technology, way of governing and so much more. He also helped him develope his own language and brought him a true God to worship, they called this religion "Christianity" which, despite having it's dark side to enlightment, granted Phil. a strong heart and personality. Despite all these improvements, Phil. was unhappy with how his onii-san treated him. He never was allowed to do anything he wanted without having to consult his brother, and the hardwork he incorporates on his crops would just be handed over to his onii-sama for selfish purposes. He was often beaten by him too, and insulted. After a long struggle, Phil. was almost on the verge of independence until suddenly America came over to "be a hero and save those in need" or at least that's what he wants Phil. to think, sadly this was not so as America actually payed Spain for him along with negotiating. Phil. was very grateful for the "mighty hero" though, as he was given better care and education as compared to Spain-nii san. WWII broke out though, and America had to participate in it most actively, and Japan was able to invade Philippines' vital regions, which gave him bad memories. America though, was able to fend off Japan and secure Phil. his worries. Phil. wanted so badly though, the freedom he's always wanted and strived for, so America, with a deep sigh and pat on the back, gave him his independence.
Philippines is a very complicated person, but everyone else admires his hardwork and determination. Despite all his problems, he still manages to put a smile on his face and joke around. He admires America very much, and keeps close ties with him. Spain on the other hand, apologized to him, and Philippines warmly accepted it. Japan also wanted to make amends, and helped Phil. with some road projects and such, though the dark deed Japan had done was never erased from Philippines' mind. China also, has had a colorful relationship with Phil, as they were traders even before Spain-nii san arrived on his shores. (These are exerpts from Wiki, Foreign Relations)
> Ang haba! Sorry. Hehe. I wrote that all myself so If possible, please do not cut and paste for your own Phil. tan. Thanks!
