Subconscious Wackiness

So, um, I had a pretty fucked up dream last night.

I don't remember all the details (and honestly, that's probably for the best). For whatever though, and bunch of friends and I were having a friendly little football game, except that it was being held in Napanee, Ontario, for reasons that I simply cannot fathom.

Beyond that, it was being held at the Napanee Naval Air Station (which I'm pretty sure doesn't actually exist). Beyond that, though, I myself was a fighter pilot, and I attended said football game with my own fighter jet. Moreover, use of said fighter jet during the football game was, evidently, legal.

In this dream, I also seemingly had a girlfriend, and neither I nor any of the other players found this weird at all. She wasn't playing the game, but my other friends were. We didn't have padding or anything, and... oh, did I mention that the Napanee Naval Air Station was apparently built on top of a skyscraper? Because it was. (Does Napanee even have skyscrapers?)

Playing on a skyscraper was evidently a bad idea. After attempting to catch one pass in my fighter jet, I ended up needing to bail out, because I pulled up too quickly or something. After parachuting my way back to ground, I went back to the roof to see how the rest of the game was doing. This is when I learned that arrowtwolf had died by falling off of the roof while making some play, as did one of my other friends (I forget which one it was, but I remember that I was less broken up about it than I was about Arrow [so you can take that as some consolation, Arrow]).

Bummed out about the death of Arrow, I etiher did or didn't wake up from a dream-within-a-dream (the dream itself was a bit fuzzy about that). Anyhow, brokkentwolf and I were kind of in shocked disbelief, so we tried to call Arrow's cell phone, and it turned out that he was, in fact, alive. My cell phone apparently also had some sort of nifty webcam feature.

Except that we also apparently had confirmation from other friends that Arrow was alive and well, but he wasn't where our cell phone webcam said he was. For some reason, having double-confirmation (conflicting confirmation) that he was alive somehow just reconfirmed that he was dead, or whatever.

I think I woke up at that point. Whatever else happened after that probably didn't make any sense, anyway.
